Exploring the Call
Through Baptism God calls each of us to embrace a life of holiness, some in marriage, some as single persons, some through religious consecration. Have you ever dreamt of different possibilities for your life?

EXPLORING A CALL TO RELIGIOUS LIFE
Religious life is a way of life. For most religious it is lived out in community where members vow to live as Jesus did, poor, chaste and obedient. Each religious community has a charism - a specific way in which that community carries out the mission of Jesus. Have you ever felt that God may be calling you to religious life?

EXPLORING THE CALL TO LIVE AS A SISTER OF NOTRE DAME
At this time in your life you may be ready to explore the unique way in which God is calling you to holiness. This quest is a journey of discernment. We offer you some guidance for the journey and we invite you to spend some time considering the call to religious life as a Sister of Notre Dame.

"In faithful love God has called us anew to a special consecration deeply rooted in our baptism to live the vowed life of poverty, chastity and obedience as Sisters of Notre Dame. Our charism, a deep experience of God’s goodness and provident care, impels us to share God’s compassionate love with people of all faiths and cultures, particularly those who are poor and marginalized. (Adapted from the Constitutions of the Sisters of Notre Dame.)

Each sister responds to God’s call to Notre Dame in a unique way. They offer their reflections as a witness to God’s goodness and provident care in their lives.
